random curiosity regarding flavors
I've noticed that the poppin 'flavors' seem to be more accurately described as texture sensations.

for example, 'crunchy' sounds more like a texture, but if you want a flavor to match with the crunchy texture, perhaps potatoes, or carrots... unless the poppins may be expanded further down the road, just figured I'd point out that the 'flavors' just seem to be textures or something. like 'fragrant' sounds more like a scent, a flowery-vanilla scent is lovely, and if a food has a lovely fragrance, it makes it seem tastier.

surely I'm not the only one who noticed this...?

yeah, but spicy and earthy are both more flavor than texture, and originally there was going to be a sweet as well. the term 'flavor' can be stretched to have a more general meaning as well, so it's just the simplest way to describe the differences, since 'texture' is way more specific and wouldn't apply to all of them, nor is it as food-conotated.
