debug mode?

hello, im trying to enable the debug menu but no methods are working for me. i tried both the `/~ key and pressing control + f1 seven times, but neither work. was it removed from the game?

patch notes said they 'made it less easy to activate' so i don't think it's been removed outright, but i'm afraid i don't know what they changed it to. ...nor do i know WHY they made it harder to access.

after many attempts and wanting to rip my hair out, i figured it out.
so it IS control + f1 seven times. my laptop just requires another button, Fn, to be pressed to register that a function key was pressed. that was annoying as hell

Howdy! I would just like to warn you, if you use the dev console, achievements are disabled for that save and we can't accept bugs that arise from said save!

You can of course use debug mode at your own discretion, but please do be aware (especially new players!) that doing so does disable achievements (as Dragonkin56 said) and as well as being unable to work on bugs that arise from it, it drastically increases the chance of game breaking bugs and glitches.
That's why we moved it essentially. Make sure you've got backups of your saves!

I tried to re-install the game, but the debug menu by pressin (`/~/0 comes up anyway.

You would need to reload a save from before you enabled the debug menu. Once it's unlocked for a save, it stays unlocked :)

Yes, thank you! I checked and if I delete all save files the game will not show the debug menu next time If I make a new save

Just throwing this out there but, yall might wanna add it as an option to the menus, accompanied by a warning that it disables achievements.

that way people dont waste hours and hours on a save and then have to restart EVERYTHING because someone recommended the debug menu and didnt know it disabled achievements.
