you can get the alpha on itch.io for $10 dollars.... i got it today: whilst it's definitely early days, it's a fun and intriguing little game with lovely graphics and some really fun cards. it's perhaps a little lacking in depth atm, but i expect that will improve as time goes on. .. to be fair it did make 3 hours completely vanish when i was meant to be making dinner for my family, so it must be pretty addictive even in this early alpha form.

I only buy games on steam sorry - not some back alley dealer

Lyconic ....Lol... Do you live in a cave or something ? :steamfacepalm:
"Itch.io" is not a " back-alley dealer " :
It's a programmers community where indie developers host their downloads of free games/projects, demos and early alphas of paid games etc .
The Devs themselves uploaded the game in question there.
If you purchase FTW from the devs on their Itch page for a lower price because it's in alpha , then they will send you a steam key when it hits steam as well as letting you download the latest build from said source.
You seem to be under the impression that itch is some kind of key re-seller like GTA or other dodgy sites.
It really Isn't.
In future maybe make sure you know what you're talking about before you go slandering a website you know nothing about in obvious ignorance?
In the mean-time, enjoy the game on release, because you'll end up spending perhaps a fiver or more than I paid for it as a result of me buying the alpha a week or so before the beta release and you waiting to buy it on Steam.

I never bought anything from itch.io, but I've heard about it from reputable places enough to know it's about as trust worthy as gog or humble bundle or chrono.gg or whatever. Which.. I mean if you go steam only and none of those either, err. ok. But you're really only hurting yourself at this point.

That said the release date is pretty darn soon. Who knows if the price will stay the same or not. I personally would like to see more info on the game before I shell out cash. I mean it looks good but these days there are more good g ames than I have time to play, let alone buy.

Yeah, it's a bit late to save cash now, as they've been putting the price up with every new update...
I know what you mean about the risk of shelling out, I just really liked the look of this one... It's pretty good in it's current build but is maybe a little lacking in depth. .. I'm glad i bought it, especially as I don't think I'd of paid anymore than I paid for it : I paid £10, it was £12 last time i looked and I think it may be anything up to £15 on steam (beta) release.
But as you say there are tonnes of good games out at the moment and it's better to be choosy in what you buy lest funds or free-time end up in short supply. Especially this month.

Nothing to apologize for if no one gives a ♥♥♥♥ about what you think. OP is trolling for attention, ignore it.
