Freezes and crushes, can`t enter the 12th floor

(UPD: My solution was the 64bit OS. Same laptop but now all works fine)

2 of my runs are stuck on the 10th floor, as soon as my first turn begins but before I can even place cursor on the cards game freezes, only way further is to reset the game and start a new run. Tried to change destinations on the maps, no difference.

Other (so far 3) runs were a bit more successful, they held it together up to the final boss but once I press the button to launch the fight - game immediately goes black screen and that`s it. The last run is made by 1 solo hero, so there must be much less enemies on the map. Yet problem is the same.

So yeah, 12th floor - black screen, before that - just permanently freezes.
Once game also froze at+-8th floor, I tried to pause it throughout the loading of battle, either this or some other miracle helped but that was a single case miracle.



Also sometimes game freezes when I`m trying to enter some unfinished lobby. Here in most of the cases the solution is to create a new hero, enter the lobby for him and that`s it, then just go back and do your thing.

Overall the game goes very smooth, except when it doesn't go at all and the fact that it doesn't allow me to finish the game by winning even once is kind of a big problem.

Hi! That's interesting, no one reported such issues before. Could you send us your saves so we could inspect logs?

It would be super helpful if you could also check if you have any crash dumps (.mdmp files) in your game installation directory and sent these too!


How to find saves:

• On Windows (Steam): press Win+R, enter path %appdata% and press enter.
  
  
• You will see two or three folders named R2G_Hellcard_demo, R2G_Hellcard_demo<long number>.bak and R2G_Common_WIP1 and, most importantly, R2G_Hellcard. Not all folders have to be present.
  
• Pack them all with anything (zip, 7z, rar).
  
• Finally please email it to [e-mail] and link this thread in the email.
