Rouge Tips?

I play co-op with my gf and Rogue just seems...bad. She plays warrior exclusively and I usually end up playing mage. Any tips on making rogue work?

the amount of RNG needed to get decent rogue cards so you arent doing chip damage late game is insane. this game needs so much balancing

Rogue can also be a decent crowd control - that's assuming you have other characters who will do decent damage.

Agreed. Currently it feels like only Warrior is any good at any point in the game. Both Rogue and Mage need a lot of buffs IMO

How are you spending your gems? Upgraded rogue cards are downright busted in the late-game damage if you invest into upgrades & banking gems rather than blowing them on the vault.

Pretty much only spend gems on upgrading and healing honestly. The issue is unless I want to drop 3 gems the upgrade RNG usually pulls something that doesn't need immediate upgrading

Go for the -2 cost option if the category aligns with what you're trying to push for.

Also: consider going for gem-based damage build & spamming refine to save on gems. My partner w/ me buffing her as a mage via equilibrium + bolt hell was able to 1-turn-wipe the entire final boss fight last night by spamming Lashout, Stonks, Trickle Down, & Shakedown. During the last few Hideout visits, I was gifting her and she was saving her gems so we could clean-out the final floors like this.

I was able to kill the Antipope with my Rogue in two hits. 52 with lash out and +30 with Shakedown, since I had around 15 gems saved. Rogues are able to dish a lot of damage in a gem build + You get Enchufla and Bling to crowd control.

I've been having fun last few days with a rouge and Bomb focus (need the bomb Artifact). I can wipe out whole sections and do great crowd control with it, however it's big CON is you rely heavily on your partners for Block protection typically unless you get lucky on the card that can give matching block of incoming attack. Hoping it'll be a Subclass, cause it can be powerful if done right, gave a couple feedback messages though on a couple issues with the way the artefact and Hot Potato interact.

Do a gem throwing build. Get can of beans, save gems, do massive damage.
