Its also early access so a lot can be implemented to allow it to be more separated from STS.
And since its early hoping for more LvL npc's etc but for the price and what it brings so far its good fun
I'm glad you enjoyed the game!
Its not a bad thing for games, code, or assets to build off the work of others. I may not like Vampire Survivors (or its predecessor Magic Survival), but I do like multiple of its "clones" such as the recent Ikki Unite or the fan game HoloCure. A rare few indie games innovate enough to become known for a genre, but that doesn't mean they're the best fit for everybody.
And really? As Slay the Spire-likes go, Hellfire is farther from being a copycat than many others.
but yea, you gus still got it. this one, in my opinion is alot more fun gameplaywise, especially with coop. great job, i hope the alien game will be another milestone for you, and i hope, that you will implement coop in that game as well, because i just love your style
I know that argument, it's called reductio ad absurdum
Thank you for your kind words and I'm happy you are enjoying the game
Ahahahah, you're not the only one thinking the cards are identical in design, but I guess it takes the pattern-recognition brain module some people lack.
Otherwise I say that they were inspired to take a game they liked and make it their own.
