we haven't figured out how to make the co-op local, yet. The main issue is that the turns are simultaneous so the control would have to be passed all the time OR we would have to fit two or three sets of cards on the screen in a readable manner so everyone could play at once with controllers.
And companions are implemented now - you can check them out in the current build of the demo!
Thanks for the response. Def plan to check it out.
Right now Hellcard uses Steam Networking, so aside form setting up an emulator probably not. However, eventually, we will move to our own backend and then maybe.
However local co-op would probably happen before that as it would be easier (if we figure ut how to put all the cards on one screen).
That's good too!
Saw this one and was gutted it is not local coop!
Hoping there is an update soon thanks!
Hello :)
I'd like to know if the local multiplayer is accessible now? 🙏🏻
I'd love to play to your game with a friend on couch coop as he doesn't have a PC but only a mac.
I saw that you were working on this last year, is it still in the pipe / available now? :)
Have great day!
We worked on it for a while hashing out UI ideas but these were unfeasable. So right now we are focusing on mod support, local co-op is on hold.
