Farming, Cooking, Crafting, Killing monsters, Taking Classes. (I may have missed 1)

I think farming carries the highest level.

i plant around 400 crops every 7 days, classes only give around 600 exp per week, crafting even less, cooking is a pain xD

This game is a bit more than just Hack and Slash.

In order to do any quest it involves you doing the following constantly (Farming, Cooking, Crafting, Killing monsters, Taking Classes and Gathering).

Preparing before hand is the key to a smooth game. Less stress.

Have a least 4 stacks of the basic building materials and crops for Xiaohan when she come she buys in bulk.

Well Alchemy is also an option, butit doesn't give that much exp, has high material cost and takes hours.
Still the best way to get lots of mana elexirs.

If you don't plan on completionism(in which case you will get the max cultivation passively) - best is to non stop sleep and buy x6 harvest talismans per month really fast then using them all.
While doing trips for those - buy absolutely all seeds.

You need 28 automated irrigation(20 main + 8 extra field) and 4 automated octowells(extra field)
Minus however many you are using for honey if you don't plan to give up on it. I recommend giving up on honey however, only slows you down.
Plant all seeds > Harvest amulet > Harvest > Repeat x3 to use up the amulets > Sleep until next talisman trip.

If you seem to be lacking seeds - make an extra trip for those in between.

Make sure you temporarily place everything into storage aside of plants/seeds as this takes loads of space.

May I know how many cultivations you can get per 3 talisman? And how many Shards you need?

A lot, didn't really bother checking how much but got done with Foundation early > Core Formation(last currently available) within ~2 hours of real time.

As for shards - you don't need any, in fact you will be getting nigh infinite shards to begin with.
If you are lacking shards then start with the winter melon/tianli roots - those are by far biggest gainers via talismans.
Followed close by sunflower/chrysantemum and generally longer harvest plants which have only 'one phase'.
Before long you will be swimming in 1000s of spirit stones.

Also use the 2 hour move speed food(crucian carp soup) which you can purchase in the inn during periods you run for the seeds/talismans and classes.
My recommended spread for breakthrough is classes/combat/planting basically. Everything else takes more effort.

You are welcome. I also totally forgot that you didn't need watering with talismans. So you can even skip the auto water if you lack them and even temporarily add the extra 25th plot to your usual 24 plot fields.

Much less preparation basically, speed is barely different however.
