Once you get the semi automation going you will be fine by about 10am. With time to go hit a triple lesson and do some chatting after 4pm.
I try to do NPC quest by latest 8pm. Sect members by 10pm.
Final planting for that day will be done after this.
I can hit the hay at 5am to get replenish or I just go through with some food.
That's the nature of these games. It happens a lot faster compared to other ones. By early summer, you'll have too much time on your hands, and be comfortable with your routine. Don't worry about it and there's no time limit or anything.
This game should certainly have time slider like quite a few farming games do these days.
Or they could even make the day twice as long by default without making much dent in progress anyway, considering the insane amount of grind in this game.
