HELP!!! HOW TO EXPAND INVENTORY
Where can I get more rings to expand my inventory? And how do I make baus? Can anyone help me? I'm on the first day of the game and my inventory is already full.

You can get more rings from the traveling merchant. She comes on the first solar cycle and on the 4th solar cycle. You can give her crops and earn coins, with those coins you can buy a ring that gives you 16 slots and another with 12. The main quest will give you two rings that have 8 slots. Once you open the Sect store you can buy the 8 slot rings with spirit shards. Once you get the warehouse storage will be much easier.

If I remember, you'll get 2 or 3 small rings in reward of the early quests.

After that, you either buy them in the town's pavillon after you've rebuilt it, or redeem them from the travelling merchant against the special money you get for completing her bundles each seasons.

As far as early game is concerned, build a warehouse as soon as possible and expand it to get enough storage space.

Also, Store a dozen blue and orange crops of every kind, you'll neeed them.
As soon as you can spare the money, keeping a few dozen of normal crops will help too for cooking quests (some mandatory for plot progression)

There's also a ring in front of the doctor's shop. You'll see the little blue sparkles; just jump over there and grab it.

And sell those crops in the first few days; empty that inventory at the market. I wouldn't worry about holding on to any that you don't have a quest for -- most of the early crop quests are from Ji and she'll give you the seeds you need.

Do hang on to potatoes, though . . .

No matter how full your inventory gets - Don't sell any of the superior or mutated crops ^^' you'll need a lot of them later.

the traveling merchant sells a purple and a blue ring.

Adding to this thread, once you also have the Pavilion built, the shop sells rings. This is Ji Yaohua questline.

There is also a special questline with Song Yangtong that will help with inventory. I won't say what it is, coz spoiler if i did. I don't want to ruin the surprise <3

I think I met a bug, the inn owner rewarded me with a ring. But obviously my inventory is full and then the ring is nowhere to be found. Will it affect the future progress?

Well it shouldn't stop you from progressing.

You can buy more storage rings later - but honestly maybe you should rather try to reload in this case.

The starting inventory is very small even with the storage box sister Ji gives you set up (in you house or on your field).

Missing out on a ring at the very start will hinder you quite a bit.

If your inventory is full you should normally be prompted to discard something, so sell items before that happens.

Thanks for your prompt response. However my save is overwrite and I think I can't reload it back before the bug happened. It's safe to assume you can progress the game without interruption. Thanks.

The game actually stores the last five or so savegames (and for different characters too).
You just have to load insstead of using continue.

Oh thank you. Maybe there's a small chance I can get the ring back. I'll check that out. Thank you.

Have you checked if the ring is in your letters? Sometimes, when you get rewards and your inventory is full, you'll have a letter from (unknown) waiting for you, that contains the item.

Huh! I wonder what it is - I played this game completely through (twice), and I don't remember any questlines with her that help with inventory. The Mysterious Woman in Red, on the other hand... there's definitely something that will help with inventory.

I just reached the point before letter function is activated. And so surprised the reload method works.
