Report a translation problem
In 140 some hours, I've encountered maybe one bug? And I can't even remember what it was, so maybe no bugs? That's not to say the game is perfect; here and there there will be a word or two that isn't translated, or isn't translated perfectly, but I've not run into a single broken quest or terrible mechanic that hasn't been implemented properly.
That said, if you have a low tolerance for any kind of imperfection, then it's always good to give a new game a few months to work out any kinks.
Sounds good...I have a fairly high tolerance for imperfections, and I've worked with a LOT of ESL people(and people with poor grammar, diction, education...) so as long as I can get the general gist, I'm good. Especially since it means they still speak one more language than I do...It's just the missing or broken parts in otherwise good games I'm tired of. Thank you for your time!
No problem. Based on your response here, I'd be willing to bet that you'll enjoy the game. It has a spirit to it that none of the others in the genre have; it truly is unique and lovely. And for the price -- it's a no-brainer, imo.
I need to add, however, that I just spent a bit playing the game and have hit a proper bug, although it's remedied by saving and reloading, which, as far as bugs go, makes it nothing more than a small hassle (if that). I'll make a separate post so the devs see it, but if anyone is reading this and is wondering, when you place the warehouse, you're unable to interact with it until you save and reload.
Well, I should say that if you place the warehouse and, before leaving the 'placement/building' mode, pick it up again and re-place it, you are not able to interact with it until reloading. In both instances in which I encountered the bug, I placed it, picked it up, then placed it again, so it's possible if you merely place it and don't immediately pick it back up, then there is no problem.
Coral Island, the progress wipe on 1.0 made me take things slow but I heard from my friend in Ranked B there are some bugs still.
Faefarm was given to me as a gift but it was very lackluster in terms of relationship with the NPCs. There wasn't much to sing about fae farm but I enjoyed it as it is. Didn't get the DLC. Yet.
I never bought No Place Like Home. There were many reviewers about being buggy as hell which made me shelf it from buying.

As for Immortal Life feedback, I've bought this from 16th December 2023, I never encountered any bugs during the Early Access. I've gotten as far as I could and slowed down before 1.0 release.
The only bugs I've encountered so far is the banquet in 1.0 version but I am using an Early Access saved file than a new game saved file. So it triggered a tutorial that wasn't supposed to happen. I get stuck whenever in front of the NPC for the banquet. When I tried to host one. It hasn't affected my main stories so far so or tied to it? I'm not upset about it.
I'm already in Year 2 and about 45 hours in game. There is no sprint, but there are foods you can make that can increase your movement speed by (x)% and (x)Hours (in-game).
Watering and Planting seeds can be sped up by pressing E or whatever input in the controller. The watering is the same water spell in Sun Haven.
There is also a guide from the menu under Quest > Sect Journal to see your progress so you won't get lost. There are time-limit side quest every season which just boosts the rewards. The main story isn't rushed either so if you're a hoarder like me, I took my time and hoarded materials LMAO
I hope my input about Immortal Life helps. At the end of the day, the decision is still yours if you really want to get this OR wait for Steam Sale ^^ I got mine from a 10% or was it 20% off sale.
It seems you have already gotten a bit of useful feedback, but my $0.02 are;
No, it is not finished.
Yes, the content that is there is playable.
No, I have no encountered any bugs yet.
I'm about ~30 hours in, I tend to play these types of games efficiently, and I've probably already gotten my money's worth if you care about the $ spent to time played metric.
I'm a little bit biased towards these types of games in general, because I appreciate Xianhua/Wuxia games that have passable English translation.
Gameplay is pretty fun and engaging so far, I like the loop from what I've seen.
All in all, I'd give it a 'cautiously optimistic' rating, and recommend you pick it up while it's on sale, like it is now. Certainly wouldn't hurt to give it another few months in the oven if you're overly concerned about development, and willing to pay a few extra bucks at that point.
