Heisenbergs factory glitch

I haven't seen a single person discussing this yet or maybe I haven't looked hard enough. Anyways I played RE8 on standard a couple of days ago and finsihed it with 0 issues. Then I decided to go straight into village of shadows difficulty and everything was going fine up until I got into a specific part in Heisenbergs factory.

I know that once you get into the ventilation duct area you start getting sucked in and have to shoot the fan but that hasn't triggered for me... like at all. I restarted the game multiple times, I reloaded to my previous save point but the issue persists. Is there anything I can do or is the run dead?

If you hit that spot at a certain time where the animation doesnt trigger you have to reload an earlier save. It happened to me as well. No animation means you cant shoot fan.

So make sure to traverse to the fan slowly.

Edit. I just remembered a bit more. I was using a mod to make character walk much faster. This caused the animation not to trigger. So if using any mods disable them until you get past this part.

I had no mods on but I did end up reloading to a previous save which fixed my issue. Thank you!
