Weird textures problem
Hello all, yesterday I started to play RE8 and I started noticing weird textures or shadows, I am not sure if its game fault or its mine. I tried everything to fix it (ingame settings) nothing helped, and I am still getting these weird textures, not everywhere but I am noticing it.

The grainy texture pattern looks like the engines cascaded shadow maps. If so then it's in every RE engine game to some degree, and there's not much you can do about it other than to up the image resolution to mask the issue, and/or scaling, and don't hyper-focus yourself on them, because then you'll see it everywhere. I guess it could also be related to low resolution AO or shaders, but it looks to be the shadow maps. The texture line you see at the bottom is an overlapping mesh, it's just a bad placement. So basically I don't see anything abnormal here that you should worry yourself about.

Okay thank you so much for your answer, I was trying cracking up settings to absolutely maximum, was getting about 70 fps but the texture "problem" was still there a bit less but I saw that on crates, floor and these snow places. Then I tried to change every single ingame setting, but it doesnt disapeared. I dont know how I noticed that, but now I am focusing on that, I was thinking there is some problem in my settings or pc, but I believe its only connected with RE engine.

Yes. The RE engine applies a sharpening post processing filter in their games, which not only makes cascaded shadows grainy, but also breaks the temporal antialiasing. This has been a common issue with almost all of their games since they used the new RE engine. The way people combat it is to use the internal resolution scaling, but it will always be there regardless of how high it is, but it should be less noticable. Maybe there's a mod to disable the sharpening, but I don't know. Other possibilities could be with FSR; do not use it as it's poorly implemented and will create horrible artifacts and image instability. The temporal information in RE engine games is just bad that upscaling and antialiasing doesn't work properly here on PC. Wish Capcom could patch it, but it's been broken for years.

I believe they could patch it, but I will play it anyways, I just wanted to confirm its not fault on my side, thank you for technical help. I dont use FSR and other features which are doing Upscaling/downscaling etc because there I can see quality difference and I cannot use it. I will still enjoy that game, but I was scared, because first playthrough I didnt noticed that so I was yesterday surprised.

I just saw video which is showing how broken that engine is:
