D3D12CreateDeviceFailed Error when starting

I'm getting the following error anytime i try to start the game.

D3D12CreateDeviceFailed Please restart your computer."

I've already played through the whole game before when it first came out so i know it's not an issue of incompatible hardware and all my other games work fine.

Display driver issue. Update to latest driver.

If it still doesnt work, run DDU, and install again.

What version of Windows are you running? Update to latest stable build. No insider, preview, or optional updates.

Delete the config file located in Village's install directory. This way game loads with default values. Maybe you have a setting like RT your GPU does not support.

Verify integrity of game files or reinstall game.

What is your PC specs?
