Help! Winter's Expansion Not Working

I bought RE8 a few months ago. Just bought Winters Expansion today, installed it. Launched game (not crashing like it was before), and yet the DLC is not in the game. I checked on steam, where you can "manage my dlc for this game" and the Winter's Expansion shows up in there.

Anybody know whats going on? Has this happened to anyone else?

I have so far seen no solutions for this anywhere. I have the same problem.

How can they take $20 from us and not give us anything in return? They have to fix this soon. Completely unacceptable.

Nice solution for patch crash
Us here, Fr go down

1. Go to this site and download Re8.zip https://github.com/praydog/REFramework-nightly/releases/tag/latest

2. Unzip the archive and in the RE8 folder delete these 2 files openvr_api.dll and openxr_loader.dll

3. Then copy all all the files and paste them into the Steam game installation directory.

4. Launch the game, a small console will open on the top left of the game but you can close it and play the game.

2. Décompressez l'archive et dans le dossier RE8 effacez ces 2 fichiers openvr_api.dll et openxr_loader.dll

3. Ensuite copiez tous tous les fichiers et collez-les dans le répertoire d'installation du jeu Steam.

4. Lancez le jeu, une petite console va s'ouvrir en haut à gauche du jeu mais vous pouvez la fermer et jouer au jeu.

I am not sure if this is the same thing I downloaded, sounds like its a little different. But I am not having crashing issues at all after downloading the dll file from the guide on steam.

My issue is that the game does not recognize that I purchased the new DLC.
