Ive tried now for 12 hours to troubleshoot this issue going through multiple versions of drivers, installing different video codec readers to see which will work, running as admin for RE8 and steam, clearing multiple caches, tweaking my graphical settings, trying to find an offensive program that could hinder RE8 performcance, putting Steam and RE8 files as exclusions on the running antivirus, verifying integrity of game files, uninstall>reinstall, and more.
I do not want to ask for a refund as I want to play this game on my gaming laptop and not on any other device. Im aware of players with the same PC specifications as I have and the game is running fine for them. Please fix this issue as I am a very enthusiastic RE fan since RE Zero and was looking forward to playing this game as soon as its launched.
Here are some specifications to help you get to the bottom of this because I certainly cant and its become severely disheartening.
