16:10 Resolution black bars removal?

Is there a way to get rid of the stupid black bars on 16:10 res like 1920x1200 and 2560x1600? Only if I play on 16:9 the black bars are gone but I have a 16:10 monitor

Just because I like my monitor less flat its not stupid. Its stupid from devs beeing not able to fix this before release. Its ♥♥♥♥♥♥ 2021 and even indie games properly support every 16:10 res...

Only 0.70% of all Steam users play at your weird resolution, why would developers support that. You just bought the wrong monitor, maybe because it was cheap and you had no idea about it, but don't blame others. And this "we have 2021 meme" is just stupid.

man got no braincells, "16:10 is everything that 16:9 is, with additional view space at the top and bottom of the screen." literally we got better monitors than you so quit wasting your time

best aspect ratio you can get still in 2022 for 24" you get 10% more pixel than 16:9, better dot pitch, therefore better image quality,more height, which is usefull for everything else than gaming. 1200p get you better than Full HD and still does not has huge performance hit like 1440p or 4k has on the GPU. Therefore you can keep your gpu way longer, and also any DSR or resolution scaling x2.0 when your gpu can do it gives you a little more than 4K with 2400p instead of 2160p

that works to play in 16:10 resolution in fullscreen

Steam deck sadly is 16:10. This "weird resolution" is now very common and it really should've been fixed in a patch a long time ago. Hate evil within for it too just a cinematic effect. Not like old games that would hide unfinished bits out of bounds.
