Pretty fun but short, on sale I think it's worth it. The gameplay of Shadow of Rose feels more like classic survival horror RE compared to the base game. Dodging past enemies to save resources always feels great.

I liked the DLC but the controls are really clunky, simply cause the 3rd person perspective wasn't really well implemented

I felt this was pointless dodging enemies. I had 131 pistol ammo and 21 shotgun ammo at final boss fight even on hardcore without playing it on an easier difficulty first. So even not knowing what to expect you really dont need to conserve ammo at all.

So if you playing for the first time just have fun and dont think you need to conserve too much. Plenty of resources are given, as usual.

Yeah you do get a lot of ammo especially by the end, but as a fan of the tank-control, survival-horror focused RE games, the fact that you can easily dodge past the slow enemies if you want to added some fun for me personally, even though you can get by just fine killing everyone. I guess my point is that I like the slower-paced, slightly more old-school nature of the DLC.

its pretty fun, they maybe should lower the pricing a little although it is shadows of rose and additional orders

its worth while and if you feel like you must get it on sale as i feel like the story should be a bit longer or have more unique content

Village was one of the best games I've ever played and my favorite RE game ever, definitely in my top 10 of all time. The DLC in contrast was pretty boring and I wouldn't recommend it at full price, maybe if it's on sale for $5.

Big mistake changing from 1st person to 3rd person, ruin the fluidity and continuity of the main game to the DLC imo, not to mention most of the DLC is just re-hashed scenes from village
