I felt this was pointless dodging enemies. I had 131 pistol ammo and 21 shotgun ammo at final boss fight even on hardcore without playing it on an easier difficulty first. So even not knowing what to expect you really dont need to conserve ammo at all.
So if you playing for the first time just have fun and dont think you need to conserve too much. Plenty of resources are given, as usual.
its worth while and if you feel like you must get it on sale as i feel like the story should be a bit longer or have more unique content
Big mistake changing from 1st person to 3rd person, ruin the fluidity and continuity of the main game to the DLC imo, not to mention most of the DLC is just re-hashed scenes from village
