Heisenberg: I'm about to end your slow cruise through this mode.
What point are you even trying to make here? That something can'tbe grossly overtuned/balanced half-assedly in higher difficulties?
Diablo 3 Legendary when the game first dropped: "LoL wE jUsT tOoK alL tHe hArdmOde sTatS & jUsT dOuBlEd tHeM aCrOsS tHe bOaRd!1!!11"
It was a horrible, lazy design choice that made the game nigh unplayable and they eventually had to go in and do actual work balancing it. It happens.
It killed all the suspense for me, since, before I figured out what in the world I am supposed to do, I spend like an hour there dying and then reading the internet for advice. I guess I am in the wrong expecting to use my head to solve a puzzle in a survival game instead of running circles around, hoping for a cutscene to pop-up and diffuse the situation.
Good job with beating it! Know what there are people who feel your pain...
no point.
I found heisenberg to be completely free every time i fought him, for me it's the only disappointing boss fight.
AMEN, BROTHER! Reading all the complains about how easy the game is made me choose hardcore as well. Reaching this moment, however, nearly made me drop the game! I was confused and frustruated. Even more baffling was to find no discussion about this moment being hard. Made me feel like it is almost my fault that 'I don't get it' and everyone else is having jolly-good time. I am not sure I would still play it if it weren't for detailed guides spelling out that the game failed: survive for 6 minutes and a cutscene MAY appear. Randomly.
Very well designed for the players who have about two to three hits before dying, no ammo, surrounded by a swarm of armed werewolfs in a narrow location, and an ambiguous task: 'SURVIVE THE ATTACK!'. Would be cool late game to have fun killing monsters. Not so running laps around in hopes for a cutscene!
Thank you for making the thread. Hopefully more unfortunate souls will read it and be able to regain their sanity and went off some steam.
