lets hope the AA isn't as bad as it was in re7.
many will argue that mods exist so there is no problem because somehow ppl who were not paid are basically making your paid product playable.
for this sole reason re7 will get a negative review from me because the TAA out of the box was horrible and without reshade i would have uninstalled the game immediately.
look at all the fallout games. all of them have a positive standing. something big must happen like with niere automata where players collectively sh1it on the shady parctices so that the dev team finally made it enjoyable out of the box.
look at cyberpunk 2077. biggest scam ever. the head of cd project red said that in a few years this game will be looked on as great.
Because the developer think a higher FOV ruined their game design. I know this was said about RE7 but pretty sure this one apply as well.
I didn't notice it at first but when I got to the village itself and did that chase, that's when it really kicked it. It wasn't as prominent in the dark or during the house scene at the start but when on the move and everything was visible, that's when it really kicked in.
I never had this problem during the demo though which was strange.
RE8 not only has Denuvo (one of 3 DRM schemes) and is missing a slider even though 7 had it, but it's even missing basic options like motion blur. I hate motion blur, but that doesn't mean others shouldn't have the option to use it, especially in a singleplayer game. There's no excuse for this game to not have a slider and motion blur inside the graphics settings.
Just because you don't experience something as an issue doesn't mean it's not an issue for others. You should expect more from companies that sell you their products, not less.
Paying for a product and having an inferior experience for months or years is not okay.
