So do I have the new DLC or not?
I got the Resident Evil Village & Resident Evil 7 Complete Bundle for $84.79
That can no longer be gotten on steam and I don't see gold edition ether I pre-orderd this game by the way. The new DLC is not listed and says if you have the gold edition don't buy the DLC because you own it.
I don't want to buy it if they are just going to give it to me but I also want the pre-order bonus for it and don't want to miss out on it.

I just don't know why it's so hard to listen to the fans by simply releasing the patch to get rid of DRM.

Because it was patched and no longer an issue at all.

No, you do not have new DLC and it will not be given to you. Gold Edition is a new edition separate from your purchase.

The RE7 complete bundle included RE Village with Trauma Pack and RE:Verse. Nothing more. So you will have to buy Winter's Expansion if you want to play it.

Does it really take that long to fix a 1gb patch? I mean it's a company that make millions and they can't fix this, it has been like 5 days already.
I just hope CAPCOM will not repeat the same mistake by the time RE4 remake comes out next year. If they continue to mess up with anti-tamper code, then there's going to be serious technical problem, and thus the game will eventually become unplayable. I just don't know why it's so hard to listen to the fans by simply releasing the patch to get rid of DRM.

I think they are going to fix it simultaneously or near the winter's Expansion release tbh.

They would make more money doing this also as they can sell on other places like GOG on top of the game running smoother.

I found a solution to fix the game, you just have to be in the game page, not in the store, but in your library, scroll down until you see the "DLC" section, and click on "Manage my DLC", then just disable the two blue check marks (if you have purchased the DLCs) and you will be able to play without errors.

Please stop spreading misinformation. There was no bundle that included a season pass type DLC. Winter's Expansion does not come free at all.

If you already have base game, and whatever DLC. You still need to buy Winter's Expansion.

Buying Gold Edition for new players who dont already own game will get this:

・Resident Evil Village
・Additional Content Included in the "Winters' Expansion"
 - Third Person Mode
 - The Mercenaries Additional Orders
 - Shadows of Rose
・Trauma Pack DLC
・Online exclusive title Resident Evil Re:Verse

There would be no reason to get gold edition if you already own the base game as it would than be wasting money.

If you go to the winters expansion page it does have a note that goes as follows This content is also part of Resident evil: Village Gold Edition. Please take care now to make duplicate purchase. So if you don't believe me go to the winters expansion page on steam
