Because it was patched and no longer an issue at all.
No, you do not have new DLC and it will not be given to you. Gold Edition is a new edition separate from your purchase.
The RE7 complete bundle included RE Village with Trauma Pack and RE:Verse. Nothing more. So you will have to buy Winter's Expansion if you want to play it.
Please stop spreading misinformation. There was no bundle that included a season pass type DLC. Winter's Expansion does not come free at all.
If you already have base game, and whatever DLC. You still need to buy Winter's Expansion.
Buying Gold Edition for new players who dont already own game will get this:
・Resident Evil Village
・Additional Content Included in the "Winters' Expansion"
- Third Person Mode
- The Mercenaries Additional Orders
- Shadows of Rose
・Trauma Pack DLC
・Online exclusive title Resident Evil Re:Verse
There would be no reason to get gold edition if you already own the base game as it would than be wasting money.
If you properly read thread OP does not have gold edition.
So your points are all moot.
