it's friday. they probably accidentally pushed a patch to remove ray tracing, then they'll fix it next thursday, business as usual.

1.4GB is probably for owners of DLCs, I had 1.36 GB and I have all of them

I hate these weird updates that never get any notes. Happens a lot with different games.

It should be illegal, we just don't know what we download on our PCs

:shockedkitty: but all the time we download stuff not knowing whats in it 100% wise
plus we dunno whats in the code or anything normally beyond what were told
googleplay mentions a few facts about playstore items before downloading, like info and all that.
but a majority of the time you download something off the internet you know very little information about it.
you only know what your told, but to go in depth would take a bit of time

as per patch notes, illegal for an patch to not come without?
often times patchnotes say, bug fixs, crash fixs, simple stuff
but do you truly know what changed? what was fixed?
unless they detail every inch? and that takes time from development

most dev/pub patchnotes are never highly detailed and highly complete :ALsleepemoji:

That was an "overreaction", I didn't mean literaly illegal. I'm just annoyed that Devs don't want to inform us what they change

and your word was an over reaction too aye? :ALdrinkemoji:
word use can lead to a varied amount of replies
some literally mean illegal, well others use it as a loose term

an better term would be that there should be an agreement between steam and dev/pubs
that theyll release patch notes with each update, that would solve alot of questions
though wed never get full details, but the jest of what it is is usually helpful :ALwheeemoji:
Removed – re_chunk_000.pak.patch_009.pak (887.86 KiB)

They "REMOVE" something & that add nearly 900 MBIT? For Nothing?

Strange Thing (My Logic Remove = Less Space needed, not more)

LOL XD

LOL, yeah my thinking exactly, CAPCOM = Fustercluck city, while pretending to give a ♥♥♥♥ about PC players.

Only here to point out this is the dumbest explanation I've ever seen for not having patch notes.

If you're downloading things to your pc without knowing what your doing you deserve what comes next.
