killing all the threats in RE7 and RE8 makes him pretty much a force to be reckoned with.
Does it really need to be some hero with a military career of 15 years who has to experience all these events ? I don't think so.
By the way, it's the player and his style of playing which reflects how Ethan is or what kind of guy he turns out to be in the end.
Yet Village ironically turned him into the least human, vulnerable and believable character in the entire franchise.
Do you know how many times in 8 Ethan blurts some variation of "what the hell?". The dialogue is pretty bad all around in 8 tbf.
At least we have RE4 remake.
