Can't switch back to non-ray tracing mode
So, I goofed up...

Some proper backstory: A while back, I got the fluffy manager and some mods and what-not, but things went sideways. Not longer after modding the game, I ran into issues with the audio, causing it to be non-existent or seriously screwed up, making it difficult to enjoy.

Unbeknownst to me at the time, it was the mod manager that needed to be updated. Unfortunately, I didn't realize that until after I verified the game's files. At first, I thought that would fix it, but no dice. This led me to discover that I needed to update the manager, which fixed the audio, but caused another issue entirely.

After verifying the game's files, the option to revert back to the [dx11-non-rt] is gone completely, breaking most of my mods in the process. It's no longer in the beta tab in Steam's settings and I've searched Google too many times to count for my issue, but there's absolutely nothing that says how to get the option back. (Every google result brought back how to access the non-ray tracing feature, but nothing on how to reacquire it if it's lost)

Do I need to uninstall and then reinstall? Is there a program that reverts the game's version back to the pre-ray tracing update? Or am I out of luck entirely? This is my first time facing an issue like this and confused is an understatement.

You maybe thinking of the wrong game.

There was never a dx11-non-rt branch of RE8.

That's only for 2, 3 and 7.

Sincere apologies for the late reply! Thank you for the response. That was an error on my part.
