No save files

I haven't played in a while. I reinstalled and all my saves are gone. I still have my old saves folder but even copying it is not allowing me to see them in game. Am I missing something here?

Did you ever figure out what happened or how to fix it? I just tried playing today for the first time in several months. Wanted to finally complete my VoS run today and on the start screen it no longer gives me the option to load or continue from a save. All my bonus content is gone as well. Very frustrating as I do not have the time to go back and complete it all over again.

I did not. My save files were still there so what I ended up having to do was this.

First copy your old saves to a new directory.
Second play to the first save point of the game and save in the same save slots you used previously and also play mercenaries once.
Third copy your old saves over the new ones you just made.

After doing this you can load the old saves but you will still need to go through the whole game again to have access to NG+ content like the weapons you unlocked. Your mercenaries stuff should be fine though once you copy over. This was the only thing I could do to salvage anything.
