Incomplete 3rd person mode as i expected.

As a person who doesn't like 1st person camera, i was looking forward to the 3rd person mode. Well, at least for the COMPLETE 3rd person mode. Because now i have seen a gameplay video and it is as i expected. A cheap and lazy 3rd person mode without proper remake of cutscenes for it with cinematic camera showing Ethan. It just switches back to first person for the cutscenes. Because the first person mode in gameplay is just half of what i hate about first person. I hate how in cutscenes, everybody is looking at the camera/you (well, it's not you, it's just freaking camera). It's just so lame to me. I was hoping they would remake the cutscenes for 3rd person mode with cool cinematic camera. Didn't happen as i expected, because they didn't show any cutscene in trailers for this DLC. So thanks for nothing. Not buying it.

To all who likes first person mode, i respect that. I'm just stating my opinion about the 3rd person mode here, so no need to flame me.

They really should have made the 3rd person mode a free update to all owners, not make you buy a separate DLC. Given how low effort it is.

It's not low effort it's a Fp character with the camera moved behind him. That's all they can do. For a game to play right in 3p it really needs to be developed around that from the start.

So not much effort was needed, that's what you seem to be saying here. Therefore it shouldn't be something they charge for. But it's Capcom, they never miss a trick to milk their customers.

The only way they'd get it to play right, like the remakes is redo the whole game. It's way better than a mod they animated Ethan's fights and melee and different stuff but he's still first person character Ethan that's pretty blank for VR and Fp immersion. I guess am saying they didn't have a lot to work with and I think he plays better in Fp as it was originally made. Rose's DLC story is great though. She's a good 3p RE protagonist.

I know making the 3rd person mode properly with cutscenes and everything would require a lot of work, time and money. I don't think they would have to redo the whole game, but yea, a lot more work. But if they are not willing to put more work in it, why do they expect me to pay them money for it? What i'm saying is, they should have make it properly and completely or give it to us as free update.

Will probably wait till price for this DLC drops heavily and then i'll buy it only for the Rose story.
