Game Still Crashing Not Starting

Ever since the update over 2 weeks ago my game will not launch. The game worked perfect before the update. I did not own any DLC for the game so the "quick fix" Capcom gave did not work. So I bought the DLC over a week ago and unchecked the DLC box and left it checked but still the same. So I thought maybe after the game DLC launches it would work. Just downloaded the DLC when I turned my computer on for the automatic update and guess what? Still not freaking working. This is absolutely ridiculous.
It gets to the part that says this game has an auto save feature and then capcom starts generating a crash report and the game crashes. It does it in the same place EVERY TIME. I am 80 dollars deep in this game that arguably total is a 40 dollar game but I never complained.
I tried to contact Capcom North America since that is where I am and send them the crash report they generated but of course you can't even do that. I should be able to refund my entire purchase at this point. I downloaded the 3rd person demo and it works just fine so can somebody do something?

B-550 asus rog motherboard
Ryzen 5800 cpu
32 gb T-force 4000mhz ddr4 ram
Nvidia 1080 Graphics card
Windows operating system
All drivers are always updated I check every time I get on here.

Any help?

I just uninstalled the game and installed it on a different ssd drive from the m.2 and still same issue.

This might not be related, but if it is give it a try.

Make sure you don't have any reshade files in your game's directory. I uninstalled the game, removed the reshade files, installed and it works fine.

Still did not work I am at a loss. I will paste the crash report in the hope that someone may know something or by a miracle Capcom sees it.

Okay I think I fixed it I had to download a file from nexus mods and paste the folder in the RE 8 folder and it worked for me. The reddit post is here if anyone needs help.

This works, but definitely doesn't look good on Capcom. Modders basically providing an unofficial fix, while Capcom leaves their customers hanging.

my game keeps crashing at 32:9 but it's didn't crash at 16:9

cant play the new dlc. the first 2 cutscenes play, but once she hold her hand over the container, the game crashes. mod didnt work.

edit:
after googling about it, looks like there are enough articles about the issue that the game crashes. capcom already apologising about it and try to fix it.
as mentioned, i can enter the game just fine, even watch teh first two scenes but once thats over, the game crashes.
was really looking forward to the rose dlc.

We shouldn't have to go through all this trouble for a game that we spent money on to work. Capcom needs to get their crap together and fix this immediately.
