Third person perspectives tend to make me a little motion sick but the few minutes I've spent with Shadows of Rose haven't been *awful*, and the more character-driven narrative (and apparent design principles from the original trilogy)justify the shift in perspective alright enough. No doubt gonna be a bit polarizing, though.
what about 2nd person games would those be visual novels
just wait for first person mode that will be a thing like we had for first person on resident evil 2 and 3
Third person is he/she/it/they, that's why we see the character from outside. Now that I re-read i'm pretty sure you meant fourth person the first time. Not sure 4th person would work for a city builder as the player is not really part of the group, it's more like 6th person (plural they). I don't think it's really possible to have games in other perspectives than 1st 3rd and 6th but it's a fun thing to think about :P
