RE 9 needs to go back to its roots again.

Capcom cant release bombs like Resident evil 3 remake when it was revealed that their own marketing team was against it, too short and cut content, Chris should be young and strong RE5 and RE6 style, this was nothing but an lame freakshow also fps or third person is still very polarizing.

The protagonist will obviously be Rose but that doesn't mean Chris will be old. I think they purposely didn't show Chris in the ending with grown Rose to delay this reveal: Rose is basically made of mold like her father (she was literally dismembered and reassembled in Village) so she probably doesn't age like humans do. The young adult Rose we saw in the ending could very well be 5 years old. So Chris will still be in his prime conditions.
Oh and she has powers like Evelyn, so yeah the next RE will probably be a mix of shooting and various powers ala Bioshock. The mold did give Heisenberg Magneto's powers and the other Lords all kind of weird stuff afterall so there's no limit now.

Mark my words and see in a few years when they'll announce RE9.

Considering mainline REs have always taken place in the same year they were released in IRL and Rose's scene is a throwaway and nothing more I highly doubt it.

Also no, the mold didn't give Walter magneto powers. His electrical organs did. All the lords were Cadou experiments. Cadous were parasites/worms infected with the mold. RE9 will most likely be situated in 2024 or 2025 and unless Rose's growth was messed with somehow she will not be in the game at all. Eveline only aged faster due to the fact she was in an unstable condition.

You make a very good point.

Since Eveline's aging was caused due to her not receiving her medication, there is a possibility that the same applies to Rose. So,
1. Rose ages like Eveline did, or
2. As a perfect vessel, is either not affected by rapid aging, or simply takes the equivalent medication.

Personally, I hope that Rose will age like Eveline did, appear in RE9 and become a villain.

No matter what we say though, I bet CAPCOM will make RE9's story to be something very different than what we are thinking of, as always.

As I said before, punching mummies in the Great Pyramid off Giza. No way they'd do anything else for the next game. Rose can be kidnapped by some reanimated ancient Egyptians for all I care.

To be fair there are other ways to experience a video game than on Steam. On the other hand if we want to be honest, he hasn't touched any of those other options either.
