looks like a man with good standards
They won't remove it anytime soon. DLC is still coming.
It's sad to see this game on 'overwhelming positive' when consumers were treated this way
Empress crack release date: 9, Jul 2021
That was over 2 months.
I don't know the story behind RE2's crack status so I can't comment on that.
As you said, the issues weren't related to Denuvo, but people like blaming it for no apparent reason just because.
Denuvo not protecting sales is just a excuse used by people who like to bash Denuvo.
It's been years since Denuvo was first used. You can bet that companies have done their own research since they keep spending a significant amount of money in order to have it in their games.
People who pirate games are a lost sale anyway ==> This lame excuse is being recycled over and over, without taking into account the simple fact that there are impatient gamers would buy the game on release if no cracked version is available.
Denuvo haters are a vocal minority, and "Real" customers do not care about Denuvo, since Denuvo's performance impact is minimal when implemented properly. The evicence is that the game has an overwhermingly positive score, even with the performance issues caused by Capcom's DRM, which is not related to Denuvo at all.
As if the problems are related to Denuvo...
The game having an overwhelmingly positive score means one and only thing: You are making a big fuss out of it while most people are enjoying the game.
The empress crack only stopped the poorly implemented Capcom DRM checks. Which was causing the issues.
Denuvo is still in game.
