How is "village of shadows" difficulty compared to extreme?
After almost 1 year i've played village again, for some reason i stopped playing at half of the story. I realized I was playing extreme which is kinda easy for mobs but very hard for bosses and mini bosses. Is village of shadows extremeley harder than this? I'd like to go for full 100% achievements but I dont know if i've got enough patience to die 100 times to bosses that tank 1billion hits :(

VoS is intended to be completed on NG+ so all the enemies are balanced with the idea that you're using already upgraded weapons. it can be completed on NG without using any bonus items but doing so makes even basic enemies ridiculously tanky, while you're 2-shot by basically anything. On top of this a bunch of enemies are added throughout the game, like a second Varcolac where you encounter the first one

Ye what actually worries me is the health/damage system. Also i didnt even upgrade Ethan, only weapons and I should sell some I believe ^^ Anyway I think the dragoon with unlimited ammo would be the way to go LOL

like grobdor has said, VoS is intended for ng+ where you have fully maxed out late game guns but it is possible to do it on new game too. but doing so means you have to avoid most of the mobs if not all so you have enough ammo for the bosses.yes you can get softlocked during bossfights if you dont save enough ammo. and the hardest part of your playthrough would be factory where big enemies can block your way so you cant really walk pass and trying to kill them would take half of your ammo on every gun. the only way is to grab grenade launcher and save your flashes or to take a hit from them so can pass but its a bit chessy and might not work. also you probably need to grab revolver for late game bosses or else softlock. i did it once just for personal challenge but it can be frustrating at times if you dont know where you are going. so i would suggest to do it in ng+ and have fun trying your new guns  :cuphead:

Since I created this post I did beat the game already 3 times lol And I'm currently on village of shadows. Infinite ammo is definetely the way to go, after this one I'll just need the blade only run and the S grades ^^

Oh thats great lol. Infinite ammo is a bit too much and make the game boring but hey you just want the achievement so its ok i suppose since its the best way to melt the enemies towards victory. About blade only run, if you kill the giant at the very end in chris section using missiles it voids the achievement and you have to redo. So you have to knife him to death remember that. Other than that im sure you will get everything else easy. Good luck
