I can't start the game

I think i'm missing something here. I just finished installing the game but it's not starting. can someone help me? ty

Near the bottom most likely to match your current w10 version.

search for K-lite codec pack, and install Standard version.
search for Microsoft Visual Framework, and download from 2013 ver. to the newest ver. of it from Vicrosoft site.
Update Windows 10 x64 to 20H2 ver.
Update your GPU driver.
That's what helped me, but at first i had win 7 x64, so not sure if this gonna help

Install the K-lite codec pack as it contains the WMV video coder and additional files
Update graphics drivers to latest version
Verify game local files

I had the same issue when I was starting the game but it would just crash to desktop after the logos appear. I did the above steps and my problem solved, I am now able to play the game nicely. Hope this helps.

It prompted me to install the codec, I didn't and it started up and ran fine. So, I wouldn't necessarily assume the codec is the magic bullet.
