RE8 or RE7 which do you prefer?

Resi7 because it’s a horror game but village is a decent game as well

28 hours and still going, Way more replayability and enjoyment for me. better than RE7.

RE7 for atmosphere, setting and horror but RE8 is good too :)

I'm still in my 1st playthrough of RE 8 but RE 7 was much better.

RE 8 is extremely linear with hardly any survival horror game mechanics in it.
Game's fun and the art direction is great but very far from what I'm expecting from a RE.
Smells too much like a RE 4 remake for me.

RE7 is good, but the boat section ruins it a bit. RE8 is better, also have great horror stage, which RE7 have not.

RE8 for me. Not sure if I missed something in RE7, but I don't recall any bonus shop or replayability. Loved the theme and the setting but once it was done... it was done. Did I miss something important?

Re7 has more content due to story-dlc as is overall more scary.

Re8 has more weapons and variation in enemies. Is scary at times. But is more lengthy in its mainstory.

I prefer 8. 7 only good grace was the Baker house and after that I did not like the Ship.

RE7 is a masterpiece. 8 was a worthy sequel though
