Anyone having explored areas stay red?
I've never had this issue before in any of the games but there is a LOT of rooms that I keep missing something. I have literally stayed in the rooms for 30 mins + and can't find anything? I have checked every inch of the ceiling and walls for gems stuck up there too. For instance in the Village I am missing something in Luthier's house (violin house) and I have opened the chest?

There is a gem on the front of the violin hanging in the corner of the room. Took me ages to find it.
I easily spent 20 minutes in Iuther's house and eventually gave up thinking that it was a glitch.

Honestly, if you're on New Game +, there should be a function where the game tells you exactly what you're missing in that particular room so you know what to look for. What a QoL improvement that would be.
Yeah i miss the Pills from RE7 highlighing things.
First Playthrough i just couldn Clear out the Castle, i gave up after some time because i want go back the Story. Now on my NG+ i pretty much Scanned every Pixel , and now Cleared Blue the Whole Castle.
The sad Part about it, its does nothing except some Hundres more of Lei and satisfy your inner Monk.
Nope. A lot of the areas are really hard to turn blue. I can spend 10 minutes in one room, bactracking etc. Just to try to figure out what I missed. On my first run, I skipped some areas.

I had a few rooms in the castle too I missed, something in the courtyard, something in the chamber of solace and a few other places :(

Yeah, I know the feeling, haha. I guess I will need to try harder on my 2nd playthrough :D
I also missed something in Luiza's house, but I guess I can't get it now? I still don't have the achievement for completing the village map yet. The only thing I missed was that gem and something inside her house.
Ah! Luiza's key. On my first run I had that and didn't figure out what it is used for.
And yeah, Luiza's house was red on my first run too. Can't get back in.
If any room isn't turning red, Best thing to do is start looking up.

Walls, Ceilings, paintings, hanging items. Small treasures (Mainly gems) are hidden away in all sorts of places and you'll normally need to see them glint.

Otherwise make sure you've broken anything like a crate/vase, Opened every drawer, And looked at any little corner, bench, garden that might be hiding that one Chem fluid or herb. Honestly grabbing EVERYTHING only matters on the first Playthrough or if you're on VoS difficulty and need every single Lei and item you can find. There's no Achievement or Challenge for 100% cleaning the map.

Ah no, I got that already and found what it was used for, it's something inside the house itself (maybe gunpowder or something?) ^^
