On another note, its silly that ethan doesnt realise he is mold or when he died...or why he doesnt become stronger
It's because he is extremely stupid I loved the whole cutscene how she insulted and laughed at him.
Also given how mia acts.. she was the only one who knew about ethan. Why? Don't know. Mold to human action seems to be special for the women hurhur. Nobody explains that. It's up to our imagination.
But they needed to give mia something otherwise she would have been totally useless the whole game. This way she acted as surprise mechanic for the chris part to uncover or hint at that one secret capcom tries to foreshadow within the whole game.
Also I think everyone is forgetting that BSAA was potentially comprised back in RE 5 since tricell, which caused RE 5, was one of their sponsors/investors. Kinda like how STARS was a pet project of umbrella. I think most people forgot that fact since it was never addressed in that game or any other resident evil games until this one.
Actually, she kinda does notice it. When she drinks Ethan's blood she says that he "Tastes a bit stale", which could refer to him being molded.
