(SPOILERS) Question about Ethan
I have nothing to complain about how the story conclude and that ethan is mold but what about when he got strung by the syringe in RE:7?? Shouldn't it remove the mold or kill ethan? And why didnt BSAA know about this. They did research to mia but not ethan who clearly could have been molded by eveline?

I read somewhere that chris was visiting them but it was not included in the final game. They probably knew everything and thats why they sent the team to retrive them.

On another note, its silly that ethan doesnt realise he is mold or when he died...or why he doesnt become stronger

Well there is at least a good believable reason why ethan is like that. Dream Evelline says it near the end.

It's because he is extremely stupid I loved the whole cutscene how she insulted and laughed at him.

Also given how mia acts.. she was the only one who knew about ethan. Why? Don't know. Mold to human action seems to be special for the women hurhur. Nobody explains that. It's up to our imagination.

But they needed to give mia something otherwise she would have been totally useless the whole game. This way she acted as surprise mechanic for the chris part to uncover or hint at that one secret capcom tries to foreshadow within the whole game.

It's not silly because that's how the mold works. Look what it turned Jack's family into. They were normal people once.

What is silly is that molded bleed black blood, shown by all the times we've shot molded and the baker family in the last game. Ethan bleeds red. Always. And in the three years since Re7, he's surely have gone to a doctor or gotten checkups from Chris's team over at Umbwella (clearly not the real Umbrella, but hey. Potato potato.) and they would have noticed "hey this isn't human blood" "hey. this isn't human skin" or even "hey how does an over the counter antiseptic cause him to literally regenerate muscle connections"

When not even Lady D can taste out the mold blood of ethan.. he must be special ! Now thinking about it.. damn everyone in this game is just stupid as hell. Except the duke. He was awesome. I typically don't like a total "just because" character. But in a game where everyone is stupid as hell.. that one surely has some fresh fart air within the game.

As soon he got his hand cut off this time I knew he was still infected. And I made a guess since you don't get his fingers back I assumed he would die in this game.

Also I think everyone is forgetting that BSAA was potentially comprised back in RE 5 since tricell, which caused RE 5, was one of their sponsors/investors. Kinda like how STARS was a pet project of umbrella. I think most people forgot that fact since it was never addressed in that game or any other resident evil games until this one.

Well the mold catalogues and mimics DNA and I guess manipulates it too. I think the reason for Ethan's blood being red is because he is highly compatible with the mold. Like Miranda went through a whole bunch of people looking for suitable candidates, but most of them were 'failures'. Ethan is special, I guess because his... body? DNA? IDK... he seems to be an almost perfect candidate for the mold to.... operate with. Maybe that explains why his blood is red and not black. Because the mold can just synchronise with him a lot better than it can with other people.

For one the family were all connected and so was Mia at the time so if jack killed him, she knew about it

Honestly that was my biggest complaint. It felt like they came up with the ethan died in RE7 after the fact and lazily wrote it in. The cutscenes from re7 didn't even hint at him dying, he got punched and kicked and he woke up to see him dragging him.

Actually, she kinda does notice it. When she drinks Ethan's blood she says that he "Tastes a bit stale", which could refer to him being molded.
