People are going to have mixed opinions. For me, I got what was probably the best Resident Evil game that I've played. The environments are varied, with their visual designs sometimes reminding me of old 90's point and click adventure games. I loved the story, but I suggest playing Resident Evil 7 first -- but there's a recap if you don't want to.
For me it was worth it. But I love the series, and I got out of it some of the best art and storytelling that I've gotten out of a game since BioShock. It has some genuinely scary moments too. It is a little short and sweet but the areas are quite large and varied with plenty to explore. It will last you a lot longer than three hours, promise.
Game is generally ~8 if you're being relatively thorough on a first time playthrough.
But you're paying for is the graphics, story, attention to detail, etc.
Add in Mercenaries mode after you beat the campaign which is like another hour at minimum if you only try it out a few times. Buy the game at 60USD and you're gonna get a solid 20 hours of pretty good content where everything is worth doing. I'd personally take that 20 hours of solid content over something like Assassin's Creed which has 80 hours of pretty ♥♥♥♥ content and boring travel and grind.
like every other game on the planet
the deluxe bundle for 80 bucks has season pass included (and other stuff) and ofc you gonna pay more for that
again, like every other game on the planet
This game is not $80.
That is the price of the RE 7 + RE 8 bundle. Resident Evil Village is $60.
Edit: intended or not, the RE 7 + 8 bundle pops up on store search instead of the standard $60 bundle with just RE 8 + RE: Verse. Go to the game’s page for the standard edition.
There is no season pass for this game. The $80 bundle includes RE 8 and RE 7, plus the RE 7 season pass.
Not everyone lives in US. It is $80 canadian which is pretty much overpriced.
Ahh ok, that makes more sense then. Steam ffs deal with that ♥♥♥♥ lol. Your losing customers FFS.
