Dont really understand the logic.
Green Man Gaming is legit. And it has it for 50, That's where i got my code.
New AAA single player games cost a lot of money to develop, RE7 had to sell 3 million copies just to make it's development budget back. Making games is expensive, even some basic looking mobile games can cost millions to develop. End of the day if you can't afford it that's life, simple as that, wait for a sale. Here's the thing kid, unless you're super rich you're not supposed to be able to afford every luxury in life, and yes games are a luxury
Also you're comparing an apple with a banana, or The Godfather to the Emoji Movie. Left 4 dead 2 is basically a co-op game so it's designed to keep an active player base, if player numbers dropped then it's basically a worthless game at that point, RE games are mainly single player story driven games, so it has a clearly defined start and an end.
i play video games for fun (not saying you dont btw) and as long as its fun there is always an incentive to play
sure, i get what youre saying but i dont understand the general mentality behind it
like, think about your favorite movie - technically you seen everything there is to see after watching it once ...
I'd rather buy a great/memorable game that's 6 hours long for 60$ than a 50 hour game where you grind for the whole game (Assassin's Creed, HZD, Far Cry, Days Gone, etc.).
Plus all RE games are well known for how short they are but they have great replay value.
RE8 is one of the longest games in the series and it's atleast 10 hours long on first playthrough.
