Ethans Voice Issue

Guys I have a problem that I hear Ethans voice like he is 1 mile away from camera .. Anyone else have this problem ? I tried almost everything and nothing worked for me also when i had interaction with Duke when I was lookin straight at him i couldn't hear him but when i turned left I heared him clearly in my right headphone ... Idk whats wrong with sound but i dont want to play it cause when Ethans is speaking i just have to read subtitles and its bothering me a lot..

Turn off Surround Sound in the Audio menu.

This seems to be a niche issue and I'm not seeing many potential resolutions other than cycling settings on and off. It is occurring on both my speakers and headset. I do hope this issue gets a bit more attention because I'm not exactly sure what my next steps would be to troubleshoot this.

Exactly .. i don't want to play the game without a sound ..

OK so I tried Reinstalling game I tried every single software solution and nothing worked until I plugged my headphones through USB instead of audiojacks and that fixed the problem ... Interesting so basically that means its some Hardware issue with this game .. If you guys have this problem someone try to play sound on other devices and maybe it will also work for you.
But it sucks to have it like this but w/e at least i can hear things and i can finally play the game

Got the same problem while playing sound from my bookshelf speakers updated the sound blaster card and it only works with headphones

have issues with sound in general still stuttering eventhough i have a pc way above the raytracing minimum settings. Tried to set off sorround raytracing every fps fix help.
nothing works for the moment.
RE7 worked like a charme. No frame drops as well just sound issues.

as i tried to see were the issue can be its simply the bluetooth driver issue from my pc.
With usb or normal headphones there is no sound issue.

If you connected them with USB, you are using an entirely different audio device as far as the system is concerned. So it may be an issue with the settings on the sound card you were using.
