Dissapointed by the ending(Spoiler)

Anyone else dissapointed by the ending?It was awesome that you are the one which is killing the final boss and not chris but i still thought its ethans story in the triology but it seems we are now playing his daughter in the last game....would have been nice if there would have been a good ending as well

None of them went to phase 2 though. Meaning only 13 got the infection.

No, your source doesn't paint the whole picture. I think around roughly 20 of the children escaped, most of them were tracked down and eliminated. There are still around six of the original wesker children still unaccounted for, with indeterminate capabilities. I can't provide a direct source cause it was a few years back I read it. I think back when RE.Net had the official timeline (going all the way back to Travis Trading Company) with background story info. I don't think it exists on RE.Net anymore though.

I'm a little disappointed they finally get this balls to kill a main character in a game and it's everyone's least favorite wet noodle Ethan Winters. Seriously, capcom, give some of the OG characters endings and introduce new ones, it's getting kind of ridiculous how much plot armor original characters have.

Dissapointed as well but there is hope that he is still alive and that you can play him in the next game.I wanted to platin the game but im done for now until we get our official answer

Yeah probably but she was cured with the anti virus maybe this brought her back to life.She also only says that you are special where miranda ripped your heart out

I mean, Ethan is still alive, is this even up for debate, her powers come from the mold, and the last boss literally shouts over and over "the mold absorbs the deads personality and memories, it will let me bring back my daughter" so basically, as long as the mold exists, Ethan exists, and since his daughter has mold power, its safe to say, ethan could reappear

Oh he is dead, but that does not mean he's gone, people die and come back in resident evil all the time

They can do a lot with the story especially now and it’s called the erhan winters triology so we could be him again

Pretty sure when they said the fathers story has ended means that Ethan is gone, lets not forget that the source of the mold was destroyed now and Ethan himself was still infected by the Mold, so it stands to reason when he told Chris that he and Miranda killed eachother is not a stretch, I'm more concerned with the Poor Duke, he might have been caught in that explosion and I doubt his carriage could outrun the blast. But yeah pretty sure that they wanted to wrap up Ethans story, 2 games is enough and he went out like a hero.

Would have been better if chris/leon or some other hero dies and yes it stands there but it doesn’t necessary mean that he is dead.Pretty sure we are him again at least for a while in the next game and rose will become the antagonist
