I don't know how the game handles ammo and other drops in Village of Shadows. Because I played on normal and the place was filled with ammo.
1) Play game on Normal to properly take it in, you’re gonna play it again anyway.
2) Unlock infinite ammo weapons, its always been a part of the franchise and still allows achievements. No, I don’t care about my ego or bragging rights enough not to use infinate ammo.
3) Purchase infinate ammo from the store with hard earnt CP
4) Play the game on Harder difficulties with less worry about ammo! You still have to worry about damage but it takes the stress off.
Yeah I loved RE7 and am loving RE8 so far, but I think I might have just soft-locked myself out of making any progression.
It's been in the series since 1999 lol, in RE3. Troll better.
It's possible but not really enjoyable. A few people have done a VoS NG playthrough, but it's all very painful at the beginning. Like I said, it's very obviously balanced around having NG+ items and infinite ammo. Lady D boss takes something like 50+ sniper ammo and like 150+ handgun shots to kill, it's ridiculous. The fish guy is even worse.
