Something that I've been tired of seeing in games is when you can't properly rebind keys. This heavily affects me as I am left handed so whenever I start playing a game I typically go into the settings and mirror the controls across the keyboard.

This means that while most people play with WASD I actually play with PL;' but something that some game arbitrarily sometimes do is they sometimes make you unable to rebind keys or they make you unable to bind certain keys. In this case you can only rebind keys to letters, which means the keys I use for gaming, specifically ; and ' cannot be bound. This also a problem for Q which I typically rebind to [

Haven't even started playing the game and I am already soured because it makes my preferred way to play video games impossible. I might try playing it with a controller, but I also might just refund the game. It's so garbage when they arbitrarily limit key rebinds like this.

Nah, I get'cha. I guess I'm ambidextrous. Dominantly left-handed, although I play the usual WASD. But you should be able to play however is most comfortably suited for you when it comes to mouse and keyboard.

As mentioned in the post, I play like this.

I've used my mouse in my left hand my entire life, and it makes no sense for me to switch mouse hands just for gaming when I could just rebind keys. All I have to do is mirror it across the keyboard and I'm set.

There should be no reason I'm not able to do this just because most people play with wasd.

I appreciate you going out of your way to come up with a solution but further issues with this is I don't just rebind WASD I rebind EVERY bind so that it's directly mirrored. The other issue is that game usually have ingame prompts for what buttons to press which just generally help with remembering all of your keys. This won't change them. Once again I appreciate it but I think I would rather either play on a controller or if I don't like it on a controller I would rather just refund.

Really this shouldn't have been a problem in the first place, and I should just be able to rebind as I feel fit.

There are tons of ways to fix this, using steams features or programs like autohotkey or DSX.
I know it's annoying that you aren't catered to, but just be glad your problem is solvable.
You could be a entirely shut out of many games due to their complete lack of concern for the visually impaired.

I hardly feel that asking for basic modern game control scheme is "Being catered too". They already have the system in place to rebind letters, it's hardly any extra steps to do the same thing except add about... 7 extra keys to the rebindable list? They aren't an indie developer studio, I hardly think it's unreasonable to ask.

asside, I do think major companies like this should include considerations for people with disabilities, whether it be audio of visually impaired when possible.

I know i'm in a really small minority, but I do not use WASD keys. I use different fingers for movement. my thumb sits on the arrows keys for forward and back, while my pinky finger is for strafing using "." and "/". A lot of these keys simply can't be bound to anything in the key bindings menu. I even tried using keytweak to change those keys to keys that the game registers. however, the game still will not allow me to use them.

I just refunded mine. good riddance. call me old school or whatever, but I'm not changing to wasd now and won't be buying any games that don't allow me to bind any key to any action. cyberpunk had this problem as well which i was really surprised about, but when i changed the keys in keytweak it worked. sorry capcom, but i want my money back.

Agreed. Keybinding is such an easy this to get right, and it feels like more are screwing it up than ever.

The settings in this game are bad in general... Loving the game but the settings suck... Hate *some* bindings and I hate the normal sensitivity but sadly I just kinda got used to it.

I really wanted to play this game, but if I cant rebind to arrows and ALL surrounding keys, then I cant play the game either.
Black Sad had this issue also, and I had to refund the game.
