Samurai Edge feels useless.

You can buy the Samurai Edge from Duke for 200 Lei. It has 110 power, rate of fire 0.4, reload speed 2.6 and ammo capacity 9. It comes with a silencer, which is probarly only cosmetic.

The gun you getting in the beginning, the LEMI has 100 power, rate of fire 0.45, reload speed 2.7 and ammo capacity 10.

But at the Duke's shop, you can upgrade weapons. But what i notice is, i can upgrade the LEMI but not the Samurai. I've got now 130 power on my LEMI while i can't upgrade my Samurai Edge.

So, the Samurai Edge is already useless from the moment you get it.

The Samurai edge is usually an end-game unlockable, pretty sure it came with one of the pre-order packs this time around. People would be pretty salty of an OP gun being pre-order only. Maybe there is an infinite ammo variant you unlock that is more powerful

The Samurai Edge comes in the DLC "Trauma pack" which was in the pre-order package. Now you can buy the Trauma pack for 12,99.

And i'm not saying that it should be powerful in the beginning. You can't read it anywhere in my topic. But you can see that i'm talking about upgrading weapons. The Samurai Edge feels useless from the beginning because you can't upgrade the weapon in Duke's shop, while you can with the LEMI handgun, which is already way more powerful as my Samurai Edge right now.

And if you say it's a end-game gun. How can it has already less power as my normal gun in the beginning? We should also upgrade the Samurai Edge.

Definitely surprised you can't upgrade it at all. I would have expected it to be a slightly more powerful weapon with a lower magazine size and higher crit rate.

As you can see, i've got the Samurai Edge and my LEMI both in my inventory. But when you go to Duke's shop, you can only see the LEMI and the shotgun that are upgradeable. I found a compensator for my LEMI and upgraded it to level 2.
