Ray tracing greyed out?
Says my computer isn't capable of using it despite me having a rtx 3080. Anybody else running into this issue or have a fix?

I'm on the latest nvidia drivers so not really sure why its not letting me turn it on.

Could be just an issue with the demo?

I have 3080 and my RTX was OK. You mentioned that yours drivers up to date but what about Windows? I have latest version of Windows 10: 20H2. Try to check yours.

Make sure you have a fairly recent version of Windows 10. Have you been able to use Raytracing before?

Make sure the game is in fullscreen aswell, and the game is running in DX12.

Same happened to me. I forced a bunch of windows updates, and it unlocked the RT option.

In case you are all not aware, Skillup just released his review of the game and has stated that RT is ONLY going to be enabled for RDNA2 Graphics Cards, No RT for any Nvidia GPU's... In his Review go to 5:39 to hear this

Well I guess my 3090 identifies as a AMD GPU cause RT works fine for me.

He states this at 5:39...wouldnt it be freaking weird AF if the Demo had RT support on both amd and nvidia but the retail game only supported one and not the other when they both have full native support...Crazy times

It would be rather disgusting of them letting us know it works with Nvidia in the demo but then decide to make a “corporate” decision to disable it for Nvidia cards in the actual game.

I gues that makes my Nvidia Geforce RTX 2060 Super Founders Edition an RDNA2 then..

You probably need to update Windows 10 to the latest feature version.
