As for PC, it’s unknown as of writing if Resident Evil Village will be available to preload.

whats even the point to preload a game? all i found it will do is have said game less compressed than usual.

I think it's mostly for people who live out in the sticks with terrible internet. Like, I'm fine sat here with my 600Mb line, but my parents have 0.5Mb, because they live in the middle of nowhere.
