Why no VR version for PC?

After playing games like Half Life Alyx and seeing Resident Evil 7 on PSVR why not release Resident Evil Village for VR on PC. Even if the support is really bare bones, the whole combat system narrow environments and mechanics would make a perfect VR game. Also they put so much effort into the graphics of the game why not allow PC players to fully experience the teams hard work on better VR devices outside of PSVR? ugh

What are you talking about? alyx is a AAA game and RE8 will most likely get vr support, at least for ps4 and 5

Psvr2 will most likely be better than pc vr headsets as it will likely be oled with no screen door effect and have hdr and bigger fov, also ps5 can easily compete and even beat pc gaming with more impressive exlusive games and no im not a fanboy, i happen to game on pc.

They should have created a new IP for their VR game.
Using half life was a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ move, simple as that.
I enjoyed the game itself but after all those years...no way, nobody should be okay with that.

They needed to do that to get people into VR and in the long run it was the right choice as VR is the future. Consoles have held progress back for a long time and now flatscreen is holding back progress so they made the right choice.

Well a lot of people still dont know what VR is, they think its just a monitor strapped to your face, they made the right move, the game wouldnt have been as immersive in flatscreen.

It could have been, easily.
And again, there is no excuse to that.
This game isn't even as immersive as you make it out to be, you don't even have any way to defend yourself in melee.
You can't properly jump or get over obstacles.
So many little things that ruin your proper VR experience.

Not being able to jump or pick up ANY kind of object to defend yourself with is pretty immersion-breaking to be honest.
Even Boneworks was able to pull that off.

I don't imagine adding VR options will sell extra units. I haven't heard Bethesda jump on the VR train in a while, either. Something's gotta give, but I doubt it will be RE.
