[SPOILER] Why did Ethan decide not to work with Heisenberg?
His reasoning seemed decent, even Miranda said he had lost the lead when death happened with Heisenberg..

The way it most likely seemed to Ethan when Heisenberg explained it was that Heisenberg was planning on using Rose as a "Weapon" against Miranda and possibly against many other things. Had Ethan followed through and joined him. Us the players, Would of never known that the Mia that died in the house was actually Miranda thus making Chris continue to seem like the Villain. Due to not being able to have the confrontation with Ethan at the factory.

And if the Ethan joined Heisenberg in his conquest, The segment with Chris being in control of us, Would lead into a 3 way battle between HWS, The Factory Robots, And the Lychans. Had Capcom kept the idea of having BSAA as opposing enemies, The ending would of turned into a 4 way then making the ending really packed which would actually kinda be cool

because Ethan only cared about his daughter, and deep down he knew he could destroy everyone on his own, like he ended up doing.

Because a magnum is better at killing bioweapons.

well ethan is mold so eventually ethan realizes that he is a ultimate super weapon and will destory everything that gets in his way of his daughter. i almost don't doubt the next RE will involve a story line like this.

He could have at least said "i'll team up with you but we're not using Rose". I mean, I feel that Heisenberg alone could be extremely dangerous to Miranda. And since Ethan killed her on his own the two of them could clearly take her.

Besides, it wasn't clear at all how he was intending to "use" Rose as a weapon, anyway.

Sloppy writing, honestly.

The man took part in tearing apart Rose, and then wanted to use her as a weapon. Ethan doesn't need a reason beyond that .

Ethan did not kill her on his own, he killed her after Rose massively weakened her

I must have missed that part, how did that happen?

It's right there as Miranda raises Rose out of the mold and she comments that her powers were leaving her. Rose was essentially already leeching Miranda's abilities.

I really wish Ethan would have taken the deal and I would love a DLC where we can team up with Heisenberg (my favourite character in the whole game).

He could have taken the deal so Heisenberg trusts him and take him out later, that would have been much more interesting. The reason "My daughter is not a weapon" isn't a good reason. I get it, she's a baby, but Ethan is not stupid, he should know she WILL be used as a weapon anyway. Exactly what happens in the after credit scene.

While Heisenberg was the only self-aware villain among the lords, the guy engaged in unconscionable, horrific human experimentation. Heisenberg had no regard for human life whatsoever. Who knows what else he would have used Rose for?

Exactly. I think these guys saying his reasoning is decent didn't listen carefully to Heisenberg dialogue specially during the boss battle when he is about to get finished by Ethan. He clearly says he will use Rose to raise his own army after he kills Ethan and Miranda.
There is nothing decent about his reasoning.

"Ok how about you just get your giant monster mech form and hold her down and let me plug about 20 magnum shots into her face and then we'll both be fine"

I just assume that in classic anime writing style, the hero can just *tell* Heisenberg is evil and either lying or will pull some betrayal once Miranda is gone.

Because Ethan is controlled by the mold (which is evident by his unhealthy obsession with his daughter, who is supermold) and kills anyone and anything who he can be a threat to his "dream family". Uncle Heisenberg is from another "family", so Ethan doesn't care about him. Same thing happened with Eveline - she kept her "family" alive while slaughtering everyone else.
