resident evil 8 unlimited amo
Sorry if this was already asked but I couldn't find it.

I've played it twice now and unlocked some weapons with unlimited amo. Every time I go to the Duke I can buy the guns with unlimited ammunition, even in the new runs.
my little sister wants to play it too. I want my sister to be able to play it from scratch and I don't want to erase everything I've accomplished so far. I'm not that familiar with files and I don't want to play around with them without help. If I could somehow take the saved version with the Everithing activated and put it in another location so that I can restore it later, that would be great.

There is no unlimited ammunition to buy from Duke

Sorry, but you'r sister is too little to play the game or did you mean "younger"?

you could just make a new save file for her

it is possible to turn unlimited ammo off in the options, but the guns will still be able to be purchased.

There are multiple save slots bro, you don't need to erase your save file to make a new one. Just start a new game and save it in a different slot. Just make sure your sister doesn't accidentally save her game in you save slot because that would erase your file.

Little sister is the same thing as younger sister

You can turn off infinite ammo in settings but she'll still be able to buy unlocked weapons. You might be able to get a complete fresh start with Steam family share, though I'm not sure if that's allowed on this game

Make a new steam account and share the library.

sorry for the confusion, i hardly use english. yes my younger sister, she is 19. Weapons and other items that I've unlocked are now available through the Duke. It doesn't matter if I start a new run in a new save slot. The Duke is still selling it.
Whenever I've beat a run, I can choose to continue, which leads to Game Plus, or I can choose a new game, which ofcourse means a new game, but still i can get all unlocked things through the Duke.
i make a new steam account later if family share is possible with this game.

my sister does not own a steam account or a pc. she visits me in a week so she can play on my pc.

I'll change the unlimited ammo settings, if nothing works.
thanks for your help.

Make a steam account for her and share your library with her account. It is free and this way she can save her own progress.

You don't need to make a new account at all, no reason to do that at all.

Go to : <Steam-folder> \userdata\ <user-id> \1196590\remote\win64_save

Cut the files from that folder and place them in another location, e.g c/backup saves.

When you next launch the game, it'll be a completely fresh profile with blank save slots and everything locked again.

thanks, that's what i was looking for. I assume that I can then replace the newly created backup with my old one after she finishes her run, right?
Either way I'll try that later.

Yeah, just delete her files ( or move them ) after her run, then copy yours back in to continue where you left off
