Cheaters..

On the re.net, there's a significant difference in scores of The Mercenaries between consoles and steam. High rankers of the steam scored at least double than consoles' for each stage. I don't think it's because of the difference in convenience between controller and keyboard/mouse. I'm sure there're cheaters on the steam version. Isn't it?
I hate these guys. They're ruining their platform themselves. If you need to cheat on video games, Just don't draw attention and enjoy yourself quietly. why are you advertising that you are cheating even though you have the hassle of signing up and registering to reveal your score? ******* incompetent losers... You're making me a loser too who's playing video games on PC!

At least Capcom could try to limit the maximum score for each stage to practically achievable scores. Work harder, please!
And fix this stupid stuttering (not my English) already!

i'm gonna be honest played through them with s rank on 4 of them and ss on the other 4, got bored and wanted to mess around with the lightsaber so i cheated the other 4 to be ss

I didn't know leaderboards were still a thing on PC. I thought it died out a long time ago.
But seriously, this is the PC platform. So plenty of people are just cheesing through the boring merceneries to get the unlockable weapon.

I did so, because i didn't feel like restarting a whole stage 50 times to get a SS ranking. So i used a trainer as well to double my score, so i get a higher chance to achieve SS ranking without having to worry about losing the combo. if we were allowed to restart on each stage i wouldn't have to use a trainer. But restarting 5 stages because i made a single mistake is just absurd.

Getting SS on all stages wasn't that hard. All you gotta do is learn the spawns which takes like a handful of runs.

Since when has anybody ever cared about leaderboards for anything post-arcade machines, they always get topped by cheaters like you said.

I honestly don't care about cheaters on leaderboards. The only place I don't want to see them is on competitive and cooperative gameplay.

leaderboards are worthless.

did you ever look at hitman leaderboards? people completing contracts in 0.7 seconds. no point in even having them when all the top lists are cheaters.

That's a handful more than I'd like. The mode is unfun to me, I just wanted the lightsaber

I never cheat at any game on the pc. The only time i ever cheated in a game was mortal kombat 1 on the sega when i had to enter a button link cheat code to enable blood for the game. (A,B,A,C,A,B,B,A)

the only people actually bothered about where they are on leaderboards are people who cheat, there is no real ingame benefit to them, only what rank you get. the ranks don't change their requirements. i wouldn't worry if someone needs to cheat for their e-peen.
