The thing is, even months after release, for a number of players (such as myself) RE Village is practically broken and if you can't see why people are upset at spending $70 on a game that takes patching, troubleshooting, reinstalling drivers, changing read/write permissions on files, etc -- potentially hours of extra effort -- JUST to get the game running well on a very high end PC, then IDK what to tell you. Personally, I cannot in good conscience support developers or publishers who, intentionally or not, allow disastrous launches like Capcom did with RE Village.
Especially not when, like I said, there are countless other games to spend money on that run perfectly without the need to overwhelm your CPU to the point of throttling every minute or so.
I know it's only $70, but the money is beside the point. I don't NEED the money back, I'm just mad at myself for stupidly handing it over to Capcom.
Well you have to thank the people who only like to pirate pc games, Denuvo and Capcom's own DRM would not have needed and this game would be flawless to.
And for me and alot of other players this game has amazing smoothness (only tiny freezes on enemy kill) The rest is just smooth sailing. The cracked version runs just as smooth as this version with maby 10fps less (and the tiny freezing on enemy kill) PC Version kills the PS5 version when it comes to RTX on, no way the pc version is inferior.
But again, lots of people are being drama queens about it.
And i'm not talking about the people who actually have problems like crashes etc.
If this game realy was that pethetic why the hell does the Steam page tells me otherwise?
VERY POSITIVE score. "Facts"
Gave that a whirl, but no luck. Everything validated, and there was nothing new downloaded. Guess I'll have to keep waiting.
You're a much more tolerant person when it comes to putting with ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ than I am :)
Same here, although it goes load the capcom logo crashes before getting to the main menu.
And the stupidity award goes to...
