I mean, it's pretty natural to be upset when you pay $70 for a game that runs like trash on a nice PC. This is not a good look for Capcom -- as Rich from Digital Foundry said, the whole situation is quite depressing.
Not sure how Arkham Knight's atrocious launch somehow excuses RE Village. This ♥♥♥♥ should not still be happening in 2021, but eh, here we are. If you can't understand why some people are upset, well, good on you for having a positive attitude about a crappy situation. Just don't expect everyone else to feel the same way.
This game played allmost perfect since release day, doing my second run now and it's awesome. I too say bunch of drama queens.
The tiny baby stutter you get when you kill a enemy is a plus, i know that the enemy is dead saves me bullets.
Good for you. Most players haven't had issues with the game. But those of who have them are a little bit pissed off that it took months to come out with a patch that STILL (for me at least) did not fix the stuttering issue. Now I'll be the first to admit, it was dumb of me to drop $70 on the game at launch, however I can't NOT be mad about having to spend hours troubleshooting or googling how to play the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game without crashes or egregious framerate drops when I could just as easily boot up, say, Doom Eternal, and it runs flawlessly. There's absolutely zero excuse for Capcom's attitude towards PC users in general.
And, as you probably are aware, I'm definitely not the only person who feels this way. I'm sure RE Village is a great game. but there are countless other amazing games out there and only so much time to play them, so IDK why Capcom decided to alienate a decent number of fans, but I know I'll probably never buy or play another game they release again. And that's just extremely unfortunate for consumers and for Capcom.
Or maybe not -- maybe Capcom just doesn't give a ♥♥♥♥ about a small minority of PC consumers having issues. Either way, they're not getting another single cent from me and I absolutely feel like I have the right to be angry about the $70 I already paid for this trash PC port.
Part of the problem... this is a real issue but you downplay it cus, 'I-I-I dont have a problem boss..' what do you do for an encore? Cheer leader 'surprise mechanics' ??
I do have a problem, a little bit of small stutter when i kill a enemy. It is in no way a gamebreaking bug. Everybody who got the pc version will have this problem. Some people just like to be drama queens for a small issue, and act like it's a first world order problem.
New game comes out "Drama queen inserted" Ohhh noooo it has Denuvo!!! I'm not gonna buy this game! it runs like crap and blah blah blah. But what i really want so say is, damn i can't pirate the game and i need to buy the game now. Let's go on Steam and let me show my anger on Denuvo and make lots of topics about it.
My feelings got hurt because i need to buy the game.
In reality that are the most disscusions about this game, not the game breaking bugs because there are almost none. I'm not saying some people don't have issues, but the most of em are just a bunch of trolls.
What is unplayable? You got a pretty good setup. Just curious.
